Frozen Kingdom

The frost is digging in my lungs
No more servants to call on
Fingers are solid ice
A claustrophobic hope in my mind

The queen left my side
Nails of ice forcing me to stay
My children followed their mother
Here left on the throne

An icy breath I take when I stand up
Down the throne chamber I slither
Open up the gates that lead me away
But then this illusion fades from my sight
And still I am here in this cold hell
I am left to this place where the snow rules

My limbs are locked in this position
Am one with the kingdom’s chair
While the icicles filling the room
My path is spitting my face

Heavy lies the crown
In this forgotten empire
Where the time has moved on
Gone are my people

An icy breath I take when I stand up
Down the throne chamber I slither
Open up the gates that lead me away
But then this illusion fades from my sight
And still I am here in this cold hell
I am left to this place where the snow rules

Even if I failed them all
Even if no god will answer my call
I will try to reach
Beyond this place

In here lies my world
In here rules my frozen kingdom
